Seniors Week in BC – June 2-8

We are joining in to celebrate the integral part seniors play in communities.  Our first Quake Tales story is shared by a retired fire chief.  Over the recent months, we have also had the opportunity to deliver our ‘Earthquake and Tsunami Preparedness:  Tips to help individuals, organizations and neighborhoods be more resilient’ workshops to groups of older adults in strata properties and independent living settings.  These events have been led by older adults working with other residents and complex staff where applicable.  We celebrate these amazing individuals who embody the spirit of neighborhood preparedness.  Thanks to the local Emergency Management Personnel who joined us for these events.

Quake Tales Project

Thank you to those of you who have made story referrals.  Please watch for our first Quake Tales story to be released soon.   We know that stories with a local connection makes a difference.
