With over 20 years of leadership in AI technologies, data analytics, and technical architecture across public and government sectors, I bring a proven track record of translating complex technical concepts into actionable insights for decision-makers. As Vice President (BC) for Data, Analytics, and AI at CGI, I have led transformative projects including the BC Ministry of Finance DataOps Platform, the BC Health Data Platform, and the Ministry of Health’s COVID-19 response, where I developed the province’s first digital infection-control surveillance module. These experiences have strengthened my expertise in emergency management, public safety data, and ethical governance of large-scale initiatives.

My work spans strategic governance, data-driven emergency management, and resource development. Over 17 years, I have supported agencies such as E-Comm 911, Island Health, and BC Health Authorities, guiding data-centred decision-making in critical situations from data centre outage recovery to province-wide infection control improvements. I have also secured funding and in-kind support through public sector grants, vendor partnerships, and industry events, expanding capacity for innovation and community impact.

Deeply rooted in British Columbia, I combine professional expertise with lived experience in both coastal and rural communities, including the Cowichan Valley and Tahsis. I actively contribute to local initiatives through school district volunteering, community events, and trail running activities. As co-chair of the Infoway Health Analytics Committee, a member of the Standards Council of Canada advisory group, and an AWS Diversity and Inclusion Ambassador, I champion inclusive, community-focused approaches. I am committed to leveraging this blend of strategic leadership, emergency management insight, and community advocacy to advance the BC Earthquake Alliance Society’s mission of strengthening earthquake and tsunami resilience across the province.
