Amy Romanas is the Provincial Readiness and Response Manager with Health Emergency Management BC and holds a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Disaster Management. She has experience leading emergency planning, coordination, and response initiatives at the provincial level.

Her work includes coordinating multi-jurisdictional responses, working with health authorities and government partners, and supporting operational planning, situational awareness, and post-incident assessment. She has led initiatives including evacuation coordination, surge capacity planning, and the development of emergency frameworks and protocols.

Amy has worked across multiple organizations and levels of government. She has expressed an interest in contributing her knowledge, skills, and ability to support collaboration and advance work involving multiple priorities and stakeholders.
